The OTC Foundation is developing a new publication program.
Relying primarily on preceding work in the area of Clinical Research in the meantime, textbooks and white papers are currently in preparation and will become available shortly.
Research Book 2008
At the Annual General Meeting and Leadership Forum, the OTC Foundation Research Committee (RECO) assembled and submitted its Research Book 2008, which highlights over 50 pages of outstanding studies undertaken by selected researchers. Stryker, which awards grants to the OTC Foundation, and previously to AIOD Strasbourg, funded the completed studies which took place from 2005 until the present. Copies are available upon request to

Clinical Research Course - September 2009
Profs. Emil Schemitsch and Mohit Bhandari will direct the clinical research course entitled: “Principles and Practice of Clinical Research” in Mississauga, Ontario on September 16-18, 2009. The course is for surgeons training in North America and the syllabus is based upon the comprehensive textbook, Clinical Research for Surgeons, edited by Drs. Bhandari and Anders Joensson.
