Another cornerstone of the OTC Foundation involves brining professional knowledge and hands-on experience into the field. Our “Import the Expert” program is an opportunity for surgeons to not only share their professional experience but also support fellow OTC surgeons located around the globe.
The strategic goal of the “Import the Expert” program is to enhance international transfer of professional knowledge and experience by providing recognized Experts for:
- ♦ Kick-off events establishing new OTC Country-Chapters
- ♦ Regional Trauma Symposium organized by several neighbouring countries
- ♦ International non-OTC events of strategic relevance to OTC
- ♦ In-country Train-the-Trainer programs requested by OTC-Country Chapters
- ♦ Humanitarian missions undertaken by OTC-Country Chapters
Such Expert Missions are financially supported through an OTC Foundation Grant, following approval by the OTC Executive Committee.
Interested OTC Country-Chapters are invited to make relevant requests to the OTC Foundation.
