II. Mission of the OTC Foundation
The Mission of the OTC Foundation is to advance Osteosynthesis and Trauma Care through Research, Education and Best Clinical Practices.
The purpose of the OTC Foundation is to undertake, support and promote the global advancement of osteosynthesis and trauma care through, without limitation, education, training, research, scientific study, symposia, publications, best clinical practices and related humanitarian activities.
All activities are designed to reflect, fulfill and advance the stated Mission of the OTC Foundation to advance Osteosynthesis and Trauma Care.
III. Organisation and Competence; Code of Conduct
The Organisation and Competence Regulation of the Osteosynthesis and Trauma Care Foundation determine the structure, organization and functioning of OTC Foundation and the competence regulations.
The Code of Conduct functions as a guide for all OTC members with respect to their roles and responsibilities related to the various programs and activities of the OTC Foundation. The primary purpose of the Code of Conduct is to ensure compliance with ethical standards and all applicable laws and regulations.
As part of our commitment to professional and fiscal responsibility, ethical behavior and transparency in decisions-making, the OTC Code of Conduct is disseminated to all individuals, posted on our Website and available to the general public upon request. Based largely on standard commitments in related Medical and Healthcare Professional Organizations, the OTC Code of Conduct is used as a guide for planning and implementing OTC activities. It is used to define appropriate relationships with private sector donors and to determine appropriate financial planning and expenditures.
Each Employee, Board of Trustee, Member of an Organizational Body, Contractor, Agent and related individuals, are required to sign the Code of Conduct, thereby committing to compliance in both letter and spirit.
